If you like to hack your own software. This is great. Just download Grokster Pro from grokster.com

It does not install any spyware, however, it won't run on a clean install. It wants you to run the grokster Loader application in which you register it by paying $20. You can bypass this whole process by downloading the fake cydoor file from cexx.org/dummies.htm

Easy huh? 2 steps to getting on the FastTrack network.

1. http://dl.grokster.com/files/groksterpro.exe
2. http://www.cexx.org/cd_clint.zip

This is great =]:fire

phalkon, this is a Grokster forum, not Kazaa or any Kazaa hacks.

Also, my method uses the official client. Not a hacked version of it.

Err...I doubt a lot of people still use grokster

It hasn't been updated and looks like Kazaa 1.5

That's what I love about Grokster. It's simple, and easy to use. None of that extra crap no one needs. I mean skins? bleh... I just want to download my files, and Grokster allows me to accomplish this painlessly.

And Your first post was about hacking grokster. QUOTE:

But the program has not been changed in any way. You're using all the original Grokster parts just a different ad displaying module. And the source code is included, so nothing to worry about.

What is this perverted obsession you have with original FT clients?

You haven't even tried K Lite++. seriously, does it worry you? Are you afraid it is going to harm your computer?

Do you buy into the warning that sharman gave about non standard clients compromising your computer and safety?

Do you think it will make you more susceptible to viri?

Ever search for something on good ol' grok, and find it only has about 5 sources, and it just comes in way to slow?

Well, most of the time that is alleviated with K++

Ever wish you could find something when you get no results? You can with K++

Ever wish you could search more of the network, and not be confined to just 1 supernode?

Seriously, what is it? Do you think it may be too complex, and not worth the time?

Do you think it is wrong to use a hacked client? If so, then what are you doing downloading free music, movies, software etc?

Usually people want the best experience possible from their program of choice, but you are limiting yourself because you refuse to stop looking at things through a damned tube.

You haven't even tried it, and you WON'T give a reason why you will not try the application.

It doesn't make a modicum of sense.

hee hee it works, kinda makes you feel proud that you have fucked over a companies sory excuse of a "pro" vertion.
btw: from what I have seen, there "Unlimited search more, is not automatic," For god's sake, just use kazaalite
www.kazaalite.tk
No skins come with it, but it just feels so much funner to use grokster doesn't it?

Whatever works for you. Grokster is falling behind in times. Lacking in features & updates. I don't know about you, but I love the great add-on tools that come along with Kazaa Lite! But like I said, whatever works for you.

None of that extra crap no one needs. Beleive it or not, a lot of users use that extra "crap". People use the Sig2Dat links for verified files (which is useful), people use the privacy features for obvious reasons (which is useful), people use the "unlimited" Search More button for finding more files (which is useful), people use the Max. Sources Per File to find more sources (which is useful), people use the PL hack which is set to a constant 1000 (which is useful).....

....shall I go on.....

So don't tell me that no one needs that extra "crap" because most (if not all) do.

May I point out yet again that this is a Grokster forum, not a Kazaa Lite forum.

And for the last time, I don't like Kazaa Lite, yes I have tried it, and I don't like it. Grokster gets the job done for me, it's easy to use. If you don't agree with my choice in program I really don't give a fuck, go back to your Kazaa forum.
