Verizon has appealed this decision to the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. In the meantime, consumers and ISPs may be the continuing targets of potential subpoenas, lawsuits and threats to terminate their Internet service.
Let's just suppose, for the sake of discussion, that Verizon wins this appeal. Would the subpoenas then stop? It seems to me that they would stop.

Thanks for that Ferrarimodena. But take Japan off that list they signed into both parts of the WIPO and WPPT Treaties in 2002. By both parts, I mean the Copyright and Phonogram versions. Checkout the lists here.http://www.wipo.org/treaties/ip/index.html
Interestingly enough I don't see Australia on there but they sure seem to be on a witch hunt as well.

Which country are you currently in Evil? And what would be your first preference for alternative. Maybe I can get a collection started here at ZP to ship you off to Iraq, Iran, China or any other fine destinations that don't give a shit what you do online..........:cross
Seriously, if this little speedbump in your life is enough to make you jump ship, shit your in for a real nomadic life Ace.

if verizon wins, then it would be the ISP's option to turn over the info and i think if any do, ppl will quit them.
Hell, if verizon wins, and comcast turns me over, i'll drop comcast in a heartbeat.

Why don't you call subpoenas (or subpoenae) a writ or order or something more up-to-date huh? lol
