I am currently using Blubster 2.5 (clean version) and I was wondering is there a difference between blubster and piolet? and if so then what...

They're basically the same program but the Blubster is newer so it uses less cpu and has a search more that I don't think Piolet has. However a new version of Piolet is coming out soon.

I find that Blubster has this wierd glitch with MS Office installed where it says it's 'installing' every time you log on, and you can't get rid of it. I use Piolet because it doeasn't do that.

They're named differently.
Blubster is more up-to-date as of now.

hmm, is blubster better bc it's newer... or is it playing catch-up bc piolet's programmer is the one who basically 'controls' the protocol?

he left blubster, and so now i think it is like kazaa and grokster.

kazaa will release an update, like piolet would.
then grokster would release and update to keep up. as blubster would.

Blubster 2.5 is more up to date than the current version of Piolet. Pablo hasn't really left Blubster because he's the one who develops it (and a new update didn't just appear from thin air) but he also went off on a project of his own called Piolet which still utilizes his MP2P network.
