This is driving me nuts. Almost every server i have connected to , i get a "connection lost" message.
I have no idea why this is happening.... Its not like i dont upload, because as soon as i start emule i get a 16Kb up which runs steadily untill I turn it off. ?
Anyone have any ideas whats up with this?

Which server are you connecting to?
Try connecting to Slient Bob or Razorback they are the reliable servers.
What OS are you using?
What are your emule settings? Upload/Download?
Are you using a router? A firewall?
Do have constant connections with other applications (Eg. browser)

ProbenPrinz is another reliable server.

Im on XP Pro. no router, and the xp firewall (configured correctly ).
I have 999 down, 80 up in the emule settings.
Those servers you mentioned ARE great, but i often have a hard time getting on them..
The other software i run while on emule is IE and AccessDiver, also Kazaa sometimes. But this hasnt seemed to be the problem before.
ALSO A NEW PROBLEM! My list of 5000+ emule servers has disappeared! i got about 3 now :mellow ...
What the hell.

Have you tried to update your server list from eMule? It's been a while since I've used eMule but I'm sure there is a website which eMule gets it's {startup} server list from.

There's a file called address.dat in the emule/config folder that keeps a listing of addresses for servers.
You can try these:

thanks for the met files.
For some unknown reason, it says that im "blacklisted" from many of the best servers. ...what the hell.
Ive downloaded less than ive uploaded, and my usual conection time was multiple days at a time with no interuption in connection...... WTF!:fire

u may get blacklisted if u kept trying to reconnect ie hammered the server also u may have a low id which can lead to some servers banning u

Thanks for the info all of u.
The "blacklisted" message is strange to me, along with the "LowID".
Ive configured my firewall fine. I have no trouble conectiong to some of the more mediocre servers & searching & downloadi g from them.
But as soon as I try to connect to any of the main servers. i get a low id warning!.
Each server use a different port? & If i see a different port number by the servers name do i need to configure my firewall accordingly? Or do they all communicate by the noted 4662?
This blacklisted thing is getting me pissed off.
