I have an audio book which consists of mp3s which are 90 minutes long
I want to listen to this book in my car
But Id like to split the mp3s into 15 minute chunks

Any one know of a proggy that will do this

I'm sure Cdex allows you to trim an mp3.

Sorri - forgot mp3trim limits the file size on the free version.

Just curious, though - why 15 min chunks for your car ? And on what ? Cassette ? Why not buy a cheapo mp3 disc player with a car kit ($30 or so).

90 minutes would get me to and from work with plenty of time left over to listen to the traffic reports every ten minutes !

only takes me 15 minutes to drive to work

i use a cd player in my car

wanted to be able to jump in 15 minute jumps to each section of the book

Pretty inventive...I was guessing mini cds or mp3 memory sticks.

I believe you can do this in nero. Wait 4 days until the next version comes out (6), then download the trial copy.

Try Cool Edit Pro v2.0 or MP3 Splitter niether is free but you can find them on any P2P.

ive used mp3 direct cut, freeware, look in google, its easy to figure out and works great
