I think I'm worrying for nothing.

But even when I'm not on Kazaa I continue to get MPAA blocked on my Peer Gaurdian.

So I downloaded Magic Folders. Which you drag files into a little section and you can choose to "Exit with Folders hidden" or "Exit with Folders Visible"

When online I tend to hide. When offline I make them visible.

But when you hide them, the files are gone and the folder is gone. For instance, I can play a song and then hide the folder. Stop the song and play it and Real Audio will say "Cannot find song".

I did this because maybe it would slow down RIAA from trying to snoop me out.

But tell me if i'm overreacting. Especially since I don't share.

I think I am... :o

If you are not on kazaa sharing the RIAA/MPAA bots can't see your stuff, ergo not interested in you.

As for the PG hits when you are off kazaa, sometimes you get hits on PG when browsing the internet. Happens to myself a lot when browsing p2p sites when I forget to turn off PG and after I turn off p2p programs.

Alot of the hits that PG gets are false positives. Meaning it will claim some dial up or cable modem user is the RIAA/MPAA or whatever when they arent they are just another user on the network.
