ok Im really cerius about creating a p2p program (Some day) I already did alot of reading on C++ and I know some stuff so far. I understand this is a big thing and is not gonna come easy but I'm willin to learn and hopefully will have a p2p app some day.
The thing I was wondering if anyone would like to help out with the project. You dont need any development skills or nothing you just need to be able to think of ideas.

P.S
Nobody flame me. Because Im not gonna listen anyway and your just gonna start a big fight. So if you have nothing nice to say about this then dont post. Keep it to yourself.

Thank you

Why don't you call it dogster, and make a logo with a dog with headphones.
And don't forget to program it in c-!
lol

I've learned a little bit of C++ so far. My AIM is Crackle1986 if you would like to chat. I'm not interested in the P2P application, but if you want some more links or books, IM me.

Anyone else at ZeroPaid can IM me if you would like. I've never given out my AIM, but I guess it is time.

Unless you plan to run it on Gnutella, you've got a big challenge ahead of you.

Unless you want a serious gnutella program which that will not be simple.

Not everyone needs too develop their own file sharing program. I think alot of the high schoolers and kiddies dont realize the amount of work and effort that goes into it and do not have the technical knowledge, or experiance to come up with anything that is really that stable and good that isnt just a clone of another program.

You want to develop p2p programs then get experiance with p2p networks, beta test for p2p programs, and learn how to program.

You cannot learn as you go..

mp3MaStA88, or homeya13, or GrimDevil69, seen the website they've made for your BEAUTIFUL Client, Dogster Music Service?, wait your CHARGING?, No!. lol.

Anyways there are some other developers out there doing the same thing, just found a site. its right here (http://projectp2p.cjb.net) dont know if they're vaporware or not, to early to tell, but i tell ya, if you evr do announce that you officialy are developing a app but never release it like mp3MaStA88 over here (Dogster) then expect the same fury that Homeya got. But i know your to smart enough not to do such a dumb thing. :wings Anyways one thing that you really ought to have (if u ever decide on making a app) is to have a bult in PG. I have more, PM me if you want LOTS, trust me, i have plenty.

Honestly, it doesn't take years.

If someone just dedicated themself FULLY to learning it. they could become extremely proficient in 6 months or less.

Having a good memory is the most important thing.

True but I'm talking about actually after he builds the client and needs ideas

ya but I think I got that handled. My hard part is going to be learning and building the program.

School kinda gets in the way for Yoda though, methinks.

Yoda, if you need a site when you get round to needing one, you know where I am. In fact that goes to anyone.

I would be the perfect person to make a p2p app. I have nothing at all to do for a while and having a good memory got me there. Plus when I start my classes in the fall I will still have a lot of time.
