DVD Question

I wonder, I kinda wanna watch dvd's on my comp but can't afford a dvd player for my comp. All I have is a burner. Is there a program out there to allow my comp to read a dvd and play it without a dvd drive?

Besides, dvd rom drives are getting very cheap at the moment.

They can be as cheap if not cheaper than cd burners as well.
