during the last week i noticed that the soulseek servers where worked on for improvements - but to tell you the truth i think they made things worse.

I currently have both versions - 149 and ISLE but i like the 149 server better since all my friends are on it.

One thing i do want to point out - the ISLE server is kick azz since thier are less users but really really fast connection and results.

O and thier are a crap load of new users now - iam sure the 149 server is overloaded - so please try ISLE.

I get little or almost no results at all - i just want to know if anyone else has this problem durring the last week becasue prior to thier work on the server i was getting awsome results and now they just suck.

Yeah....I've been having the same problem, and it's very upsetting.

Soulseek is the only P2P I use (for the last year or so), and I'd hate to see it go to shit now.

Yes i have experienced that problem with soulseek as well.

There are too many users for the regular server to handle so you get no search results.

Ive gone over to soulseek isle but found that there are little users on there and the speed seem to be alot slower.

I suppose we have to wait till more users hop over to isle.

i guess it depends on what files you are looking for on ISLE

but i think they said somehting about having multiple servers to support all these users soon- i hope it really really soon.

I mainly share and download Metal (Death Metal to be more specific). However, upon looking for *insert popular comedian here* last night, and I got no results on Isle.

I was just now able to about 50 results for said comedian on the original server, after trying for the last 2 days...All is good now.

yep, soulseek was bad last week but on sunday/monday it started to get faster (since people are moving to isle).

try emule. bit of work to configure and slow speeds but comedy is well catered for...
