Hey all,
Does anyone know any program that can run Mac Os X on a windows pc. I've been looking at Virtual PC but it says nothing about being able to run mac os x, but the mac version of the software can run a windows OS :/. Thanks

Apple had a program in devolpment a few years ago called Darwin. But it was for UNIX. They toyed with the Windows interface. It was open source and may still be kicking around about if you want a seemless no fuss install or OS X there is nothing I know about to help you. Try here for starter info.

There are several Mac emulation sites on the net. Just google it up and see what you can find. I think the newest emulator type thing is calle Chimera or some such thing.

The newest emulator I can find only runs up to OS8. Apparently, it wouldn't be as hard as many are led to believe to run OSX on a PC. If it was possible, I'd do it no doubt. XP, RedHat 9 and OSX. What more could you want?!

freakinweasel: too many people do look-alikes of osx... it's not even original anymore. and many look-alike's suck. i've only seen about 3 that actually made me wonder if it was really windows.

anywho...

the easiest way to actually run osx on windows is this:
go to college, become a comp programmer.
go to apple.com and find a job as a software engineer.
work for apple for like, 20 years.
get promoted to the marklar dev team.
steal marklar and leak it.

marklar is apple's VERY well secured windows os that is basically osx for x86. marklar isn't like windows longhorn, where you can just do a search in kazaa for it.

i think apple even denies the existence of it.

Shit isus, if that's the easiest way, then I'll take the damn theme way... Well actuially I haveno use for it anyway . I couldn't find any reference to the old open source project page that was around the last time I used a mac c.1996 It used to be a big project but all that's around now is going the other direction aka running windows on a mac since Apple owns connectix.
