Dear sir,
The subject doesn't matter with this mail. Just to attract you friends. I have downloaded Imesh 4.1 133 built, I too have downloaded Imesh 3.1. When I installed Imesh 4.1 in my system, (Winxp professional Sp1 built, 1GB ram, P4 processor....). Every thing went fine during the installation and the Imesh's short cut icon just sat on my desktop. When I opened it, it asked me to register first. I also registered with my user name "raman_viscom". The registration is also successful. The program opened and connected succesfully. Then while I was searching for some thing, the program just switched off without any notice, error message. I was wondering because it was connected to online. But still, I saw the full red coloured icon (since connected online) was still alive on my taskbar. When I was trying to click open it, or when I bring my mouse pointer near the icon, it disappeared. This happens everytime when I was trying to search or download something. I tried restaring my PC, everytime after restarting, and when I connect it again freshly, it will work fine for a min and again after a min, it will just pissed on my face. Sorry about that, since I desperately need this program to work on my PC (dial-up modem internet connetion) because a friend of mine said that very many softwares Im looking is available and can be downloaded with Imesh. I tried to register with new user name and the same story of program disappearing and its busy with kicking my ass is going on till right today. I don't know what could be wrong and why it happens only to me. Please send me the solution or fix for my problem. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the same version and tried with different version too(Imesh 3.1).Im still unlucky! Please help me out...pleaseeee ....I do have many useful and valuble softwares to upload...........My email Id is raman_viscom@rediffmail.com
With sadness,
regards,
Raman.

Why not just check your thread? If that happened to me, I'd just use Kazaalite, but if you really want to use iMesh, you may just have to wait for another version to come out and see if that helps.

Thats fine. But, Kazaa's installation is something strange. It takes more than 40 minutes to install online. That seems to be like in a hell. Any other bestway to install kazaa as fast as possible!

You must be refering to download time. Hmm, well, can't help you there. Just start downloading before you watch Star Trek.

Did you install a clean client or an off the shelf version of imesh??........unfortunately 99.9% of the problems you have with imesh is due to the third party software installed with imesh, and there are only 2 reasons for what is happening to you (1) you have a corrupted avi file in your library or (2) third party programs [usually newdot] have conflicts with explorer.

also, if you have install the regular kazaa, you may wanna get a program called ad-aware-- get it here http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=506
its free, and you''ll never see another AD on kazaa again, regular kazaa has spyware/adware thats puts pop-up ads on your pc-- adaware removes it
kazaa lite k++ does not have adware/spyware

Hello buddies,
Thankyou so much for all your help. I love you guys who all took my porblem as your problem and tried to help me out. But, I created this thread a long long ago, when I was a newbie who was seeking for a nice p2p shareware software for dowloading my animation tutorials. Later on, the same month when I created this thread, with your support I got Kazaa lite. Damn, at first, I was referring to "Kazaa" (I think I am talkin about, "Kazaa Media Desktop", or something like that, not sure) which took 40 minutes for installation. Since, Kazaa and Kazaa lite sounds same and looks almost tha same, I've been stuck up with the goddamn Kazaa (not Kazaa lite). Thats over since it happened before 2 or 3 months. Now, I think I've become a master in using p2p shareware softwares.
But, friends, Kazaa lite is a very good software with lot and lots of members in it. Its good for searching full version software. But, I am really looking for 3d animation software's tutorials. I mean ALIAS WAVE FRONT's MAYA's video tutorials. I think you guys have had heard about MAYA software. At this time, I am lucky to get a software called "EMULE". Which has lots and lots of members thrice or more the times than Kazaa lite. But, the problem is, to use this software, it would be better if we have a high speed internet connection. Otherwise it doesn't matter. You can use our dial-up connection. We must search our desired software or whatever using www.filedonkey.com and if you've found what you need, then you must have emule installed in your computer to download it by just clicking it in filedonkey. This is one way out of lot ways. If you guys knew any other better software for downloading animation tutorials, please let me know about it. It would happen if the software's most of the members are digital artists, then I will get all the 3d tutorials:).Even today, I am using Kazaa lite if I need some software that is not in EMULE. I have come accross many p2p software, but I am satisfied with Kazaa lite and EMULE, since EMULE's major members are all Digital artists and other as well. Thank you so much guys. I love you all.
Mr.serrebi101 thankyou so much for personally mailing me. But, whats wrong in my English grammer :(( Am I too bad in my grammer :( yeah, my first language isn't English. But, can you guys understand my vocabulary easily? I hope I am not bewildering you guys with my English, am I?
You can get EMULE here,,, http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/emule/eMule0.30c-Installer.exe
regards,
Raman.

You do know that iMesh contains spyware right?
I recently read about this girl and her family who are being sued by the record labels for millions and she was using iMesh to download.

iMesh does have spyware, although it is easy to remove it can be quite a pain, functionaly imesh is a very solid program but the other programs they bundle with it [just for a few bucks] screws iMesh royaly.......all of the spyware has a very negative affect on iMesh and unfortunatly this is more common than not.
A very good iMesh client is Moremesh it is spyware free and comes with many ad on programs that can be accessed via imesh, as well as this you can also use imesh to browse the net www.moremesh.us/shadow/iMesh4.2_mm.exe give it a try .......it is also supported via www.moremesh.com/forums :upside
