What's with the eDonkey queues in Shareaza? Shareaza is the only eDonkey client I've ever used, so I don't know it's Shareaza or the eDonkey protocol in general. When I do a search, I notice that the eDonkey sources have queues upwards of and beyond 4000! What's the fucking point? That source may as well not be there... and there are so many of them? When I look at the G2 sources, the queues are around 10.
Did I do something wrong in my eDonkey settings? Or is it like that in every eD client? I find that most of the time I just disconnect from eD and only use G2 and BT.
Any input?

well edonkey is meant for u to turn it on for days if not weeks.. yeah i know thats long.. but wat i do is make a small dedicated ed2k partial queue and rotate it fairly fast.. so that way i get credit from alot of people.. hehe.. so much for the credit system..

The ED2K queues that you're seeing in Shareaza are normal, and you will see those queues in any ED2K client that you use.
High queue numbers are not a problem, because the people ahead of you only download a ~9 MB chunk of the file, not the entire file. That means that the queue will move quicker than you might expect. That being said though, it will take a while to get big files.
The point of the queuing system is to download from as many different sources as possible. And in the meantime, after you receive chunks of the file, you can upload them to others, increasing the speed at which the file is distributed. This prevents leechers & freeloaders who want to quickly download a file and disappear from the network without contributing upload bandwidth.
