As well all now know (or atleast we should know) the so called "evil" people at the RIAA and MPAA are suing users
they do this to scare users into not using the P2P apps which will (in theory) lower the amount of ppl downloading and make more money for them and the Record Companies.
On this forum and many other places on the net it shows ppl are scared of what they might do to them. For starters unless you are in the USA you CANNOT be sued as there are differences in the copyright laws. Secondly you won't be sued (probably) unless you are very unlucky to be picked from the millions and you transfer a lot of very popular data.
We are giving the RIAA what they want... comotion and scared users. there are some very intelligent people on this forum and i would like to paticaually point you towards Lucian and his recent topic about how file sharing isn't stealing as we don't take anything away, we just copy.
If we carry on living out our nice sharing lives we will be fine. The RIAA will admit that the suing procedure does not work and they will move on to another avenue.
Just my point of view...
PS don't let the 2 post count fool u...
