Hey. I was just wondering if I was safe using some P2P networks but just not sharing my files. Could the RIAA still sue me for just downloading off of them?

No.

There is a leech police.

You will be fined $1,000,000 for not sharing your files.

If you don't share your files then they win. If you're not gonna share stay off p2p period. If you're worried about the RIAA then use a p2p that under the radar or go to a private group.

There are many threads on this already and we do not need anymore. Use the search from now on BEFORE you post.

the basic answer is yes... they can still sue you I would be inclined to agree. After the d/l is finished the copywrited material is in your possesion.
