mpc audio format

oh what is this shit, why are people always using formats that nobody else uses.?
I downloaded some music in mpc (I was unaware of the rar content). First I had to find a winamp plug-in to get it run.
It is the worst quality I've ever heard!!!!
Why are people doing that? You can't share this to others, because most won't get it run. And the quality is so bad, no bass-boost, I got ear-pain after 2 minutes listening to that crap.

What birate was the mpc in?

In the past ive had no complaints about the quality of mpc. It's supposed to be superior than mp3.

No many people rips their cds to mpc anyway, so just try to find the music in mp3.
