A friend of mine wants to download files at work, as there is a fast internet connection there.

What is the best way to do this as not all p2p software works behind a firewall. All pc's are on NT operating system.

Any thought ftp sites through newsgroups?

Cheers

I would probably say Blubster if he is looking for music. blubster because it is a single .exe file, and you don't install blubster on your computer, you just run that 1 .exe file, so if he did end up downloading Blubster 1.2.3 then make sure to save it in My Documents. Blut if you do get Blubster tell him to go to www.blubster.net to setup Blubster to get past the firewall, it is on www.blubster.net and they can help you on the forums about how to get past firewalls.

I think your friend should probably rethink this idea. DL'ing at work isn't something most employers favor.

There is a way to use all P2P networks, see this post... http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1038
