Slowww Overnet - HELPPP!!!!!

Overnet is so slow and I wish I know why – yes I am a dialup user but all connection parameters in my OS are optimized for max. perfermoance and i have a maximum of 6 KB/s and I sometimes get this number with Kazaa but I never exceeded 3 in overnet – why????? – I am thinking of upgrading my connection 2 an expensive one but I am not encouraged since I feel that Overnet won’t make use of it as it already don’t make use of the full speed of my current dialup – any ideas ?????

it isnt you, it is overnet. And it doesnt get any better being on Broadband either. I never get more then 4K from overnet. Hell no one does.

it is just a content rich shitty network is all.

You will be better served by E-Mule

If you have used edonkey then you know that it can be very slow, think of overnet in the same way. Just use Emule.

Ok dudes - i am using the latest version of that prog (emule) but don'tt know what's wrong with it either - all the downloads seem to be dead !!! and nothing is downloaded - nothing is progressing - nothing is moving - AM I IN A TRAFFIC JAM - WHY ALWAYS THINGS SUX WITH ME - CAN SOMEONE SHOW ME A SCREEN SHOT OF A "MOVING" DOWNLOADS IN HIS EMULE AND WHAT MAX. SPEED HE / SHE GETS B4 I GET NUTS AND WHAT'S the meaning of:

I have cable, and these are average speeds for my emule. Sometimes it's faster, but I'd say this is average. To use emule, you simply must have patience. If you don't have that, then the program is NOT for you.
