Workprint movie files get stuck

I have a file that is in workprint style format.

It keeps getting stuck in the first 30 seconds. This happens with many diffeerent files so I believe it must be something I am not doing to prep the file or something Im missing.

what that is I dont know, or else I would be asking for help.:error

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would gladly pay you tuesday for a hamburger and help today

Installed codecs are
Divx 5.05
Xvid
WM9 series mp4 codecs

I have no clue if this will even help but you can try this divx antifreeze. its a small program and may help keep then from locking up. it does of me on movies that stop.
