What 's your favorite sci-fi series. I liked Star Trek - Next Gen the best. I'm watching Farscape right now....it rocks. Also....what are some of the better sci-fi series out today or recently.

i started watching Farscape, but i'm not a big fan of series watching, being on shift-work kinda screws that up.
i'd rather watch a movie.

i always liked to watch star trek voyager bc of all the weird shit that always happened. all the star treks always had a problem, every episode. they musta had shitty luck.
and also, voyager was the only one on at 1am, so...

I don't know if these qualify under your definition of series, but they both were miniseries on the SciFi channel:
The Dune Miniseries
The Children of Dune Miniseries
They were absolutely fantastic. And after I watched them, they just stuck with me for a long time.

Tied for first place: TOS / TNG, then Enterprise, then all the rest, all the way down to the 1973 animated cartoon series...
Then after Trek:

-Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
-Adult Swim Scifi (Futurama, Sealab 2021, Aqua-Teen Hunger Force)
-Space 1999 (first season only)

Star Trek - TNG is definitally number 1
Then would be Space above and beyond even though it didn't last too long, and Stargate SG1. Voyager and Enterprise aren't bad either, though there is something that is tooken away when watching them.. maybe it's Patrick Stewarts' bald head.
Oh and Quantum Leap is another good one.

Those are pretty much the 3 I watch....Hard to see which is my favorite. They are all different and dynamic. I personally can't stand Lexx. I think the creative team is on acid or sumthin.....it's just too zany for me.

Farscape, and it sucks that there won't be any more damnit! But I got every eppy off Kazaa before it went all to shite over there. SG1 is OK but it lacks depth of character, and Star Trek NG was great but it's gone. Can't quite seem to get into Enterprise.
