cant download kazaalite

i recently fixed my computer do to kazaa gay virus adding software and i have been reading about kazaalite. i have gone to the download page but the site is down. anyone else know a way i can get it, and also does kazaalite give you viruses. i know there is no spyware or adware but what about viruses i dont have a virus scanner on my computer please help.

you can get viruses from any p2p. it's not the actual program, it's the files you download. that's why you have to be careful and know what you're downloading, always downloading files with many users. oh and you can't get a virus from downloading a music file. i recommend getting a virus scanner. a good free one is AVG (i use it). you can get it at www.grisoft.com

as for k-lite being down, there is a download page that should work, but i forget the link. if no one posts a reply with it, just wait till the site is up, should be in about a day or less.

I use AVG as well, and it is a free version. I did also try to go to to Kazaalite's website and it has been down most of the day.
I have seen this happen before and it is usually back up the next day. They may be doing work on their site

thanks i also know i get the viruses from the files i just dont want them as far as the virus scaner how good does it work

You can always get a Kazaa Build from here Edskes (http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/mirror.htm) and by the way the Kazaa Lite site has been up all day for me... I have been checking it out constantly http://doa2.host.sk/

I go to K-lite.tk every single day...same with this site..i never miss a day. I'm just so impatient with the release of the next kazaa lite. Does anybody have an estimate of the release? (one more week?) hopefully.

the virus scanner AVG is very good and the best free one out there in my opinion. many will agree with me on this. i highly recommend it.

I'd say a week. Right now, I don't know of any bugs that need to be fixed other than a small graphical glitch with XP (see screenshot), and the K++ extensions are in final testing, no new features will be added that I know of.

Hey Phalkon, in your picture where it shows the

"Resume - All Downloads
"Resume - This Download
"REsume - Remotely Queue's Download only etc.

Do they have the same thing for canceling downloads? For example:

"Cancel - Remotely Queue's Downloads Only
"Cancel - More Resources Needed only

This would be good to have because so if you download like 20 files at a time and you have about 10 of them that are remotely queue , then you don't have to delete one by one.
