has anyone tried downloading the new kazaa?? i tried downloading it today but it had major problems downloading p2p networking and the media desktop. if anyone has it installed could they possibly e-mail me it??

Do you guys have any idea what you've done to your computers by installing KMD? Please take a look at this thread. (http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9832)

This may sound like bull to you, but by installing KMD you have allowed for your privacy to be violated. Not only that, your computer will run slower, your internet will be slower, and you will get pop up ads more often (sometimes even when you are NOT ONLINE!)

Uninstall KMD, get Spybot, remove the crap, install K-lite K++. There will be a new version very soon which will be better than anything KMD will ever offer.

so is Kazaa Lite better than normal Kazaa?? i don't mind as long as it's fastrer than the normal Kazaa

Yes, k-lite is much faster. It has included speed up programs that find more sources (which equals faster downloads). Not only that, but it takes less resources, looks better, and has more options.

Currently, KMD 2.5 has tabbed searches. Thats it, there is no other advantage over k-lite. Sometime soon hopefully k-lite will be updated to version 2.5

Within a week (I know we've all heard this), there should be a new version of k-lite that will top all versions of kazaa, ever. I've been helping beta test all 19 Release clients to this point, and trust me, this will be a very robust program. It is being tested on almost any possible situation, the devs have been great in customizing to user input, adding new features, and fixing bugs promptly. Once it works fine on all MS OS's, it will be released

i have one more problem though, i have kazaa currently downloading 3 things..they're huge files and i don't really wanna lose them....what can i do to save them??

Keep download... THey wont dissapear if you upgrade.

I wouldn't touch KMD if you paid me. It has adware and spyware in it. I suggest also that you use Kazaalite K++. It really is a great program. No adware and No spyware. I really think that it is a better program all around than KMD is. I wouldn't try KMD 2.5beta. Kazaalite K++ is a much better program.

.dat files hold the information for partial downloads in KMD. These same files work in k-lite, so its as easy as copying them over and starting the program again.

If you go to this thread (http://www.zeropaid.com/bbs/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9818) and follow the steps, you should be able to save your downloads without a problem. Its writen to upgrade k-lite, but it works for KMD also.
