This had happened to me once or twice before, and why it happens is a complete mystery. I'll go to restart a download that was timed-out, reset, etc. and I'll get the message "File Error> (5) "Access to C:\My Documents\File.zip was denied."" I made no modifications to the file whatsoever, didn't open it, didn't move it or anything. This is frustrating, because I'm alraedy 200MB into a 600MB file that was hard to track down.
Any help on this appreciated!

Ive had that when ive tried to download off certain users.
It could be something to do with them, rather than your pc.

This error is normally caused by previewing videos-the players append data to your incomplete so the resume cannot occur. You need to trim the end off - load the incomplete into your winMX downloads window, right click and trim 10k-do this a few times.
