I've got my iTunes theme, and for some reason it makes the background grey. Which is fine, except it makes the text around the icons on the desktop grey too. Very annoying. Does anyone know how I can make it transparent so that you can just see the wallpaper behind the text?

Yup. You need to either go into the control panel, or right click on My Computer, properties, and go to the Advanced Tab. Under Performance settings, make sure the "use drop shadows....for desktop blah blah" is checked.

It's actually not a mac theme. It kinda looks like one though. The visual style is called "got2go" and you can find it at themexp.org. I change mine pretty often. This is just what it is right now.

I've got the actual Mac OS X theme. I'd get one if I had the money. You should see my comp Smash now that I've got the taskbar on the top and the OS X Dock, LOL.
Hey, anyone know what the deal with the "xerox" folder is in Windows XP program files? It's there by default and although there doesn't appear to be anything in there, it says it can't delete it.

Why not just get a windows computer, and use a mac theme? that means you van have a computer that looks good AND runs more software AND it's a lot cheaper.

i did some looking into this a while back. apparently you cant get rid of this folder. You can delete it by booting into safe mode but it comes back when you reboot. what purpose it serves i have no idea.

I would dispute the idea that a mac looks better than a PC. In fact a mac looks pretty dumb. You are right to point out that they have no software and are ludicrously expensive.

Theinfamousone, have you been to AquaSoft (http://www.aqua-soft.org/) before? They try to emulate (that's not a good word, but oh well) some mac apps as fully as possible. Unfortunately, they don't release their apps anymore..something about a main guy leaving or some such. Mostly it's just other pc-to-mac news.
