How do you rate your cable or Dsl high speed internet service?
Is the price reasonable?
How is the quality of service
Which sevice do you have, DSL OR CABLE?
The name of the company?
What speed do you get?
________________________________________________
In the area where I live in Pennsylvania, The Pittsburg area( I live outside the city.) All we have is Comcast Their price is $45.00
per month. We also have Verizon DSL at $ 34.99 ( which includes MSN 8.5 browser a $10.00 value included for free)
I use Verizon and have had no problem with it. Their speed is approx. 1.5Mbs. I had Comcast which ran a little bit faster. At times at night, when there were a lot of people on my Node, the service ran real slow. As for as Verizon I pay only $29.95 per month, because I have a bubdled package with my phone service and save $5.00 more bucks.:mellow

I rate my company a 9 out of 10.
Price is great [only 35] a month.
Service is unbelieavable, Only once in about 6 months for an hour we get no connection because of upgrades.
Company is called COX [ :]
I have their high speed internet acess aka cable
And the most important and happiest part of it is that my speed is 3.6 mb download but much worse upload 200 kb/s

But for 35 a month I think its a hell of a deal and Im enjoying every last minute of it for now.

as far as price goes, it used to be 34.99 now its 39.99. wait till u get ur next bill and u will find out.

i would rate it 8 out of 10

That is cool that you can get it for that price. Comcast charges $90.00 for what you are only paying $35.00

All I can tell you that Attbi AT&T was bought out by Comcast.
Attbi and Comcast service sucks as well as their customer
service. Comcast also took over ATT&T Cable, Phone Service
and High Speed Internet. Some of their customer service reps should be shot ( They Are So Rude) At one time when it was ATTBI Internet if you owned your own cable modem is that you saved ten dollars and your rate was $35.00 Just before Comcast took over the discount went from $10.00 down to $3.00. Because I am in an Appartment Complex I have to use Comcast for Cable. All their Services SUCK ASS

How do you rate your cable or Dsl high speed internet service?

10 out of 10

Is the price reasonable?

It is normal compared to any other company in the area

How is the quality of service

Never breaks off, always on, and I do mean ALWAYS

Which sevice do you have, DSL OR CABLE?

DSL (ADSL) all that is available, i could get cable, but being in dallas would make it REALLY slow at peak times

The name of the company?

SBC, actually when I got it it was Southwestern Bell DSL, but then its SBC, and now its SBC Yahoo! DSL, But i dont use the yahoo accesories.

What speed do you get?

Currently 1.5Mbit downlink, 128Kbit uplink, upgrading to 256Kbit uplink for no extra cost, they just have upgraded since I got it where now 256 is the max, I have the max speeds.

I got Shaw high speed right now. (Canadian)

Anyway, its only 45$/month.
It never cuts out (But my damn router does sometimes)
I get 10Mbps.
Very fast (Dl'ed at 650k/s once :D One of my friends hit 1.5 Megs/sec)'
Service upgrades are few and far in between.

I would have to rate it 9 outta 10, Isnt that great on a router.

Tackdaddy I live in Westmoreland County in Greensburg, PA.
For me DSL is pretty cool since Verizion lowered their rates
It used to $59.00 a month for 1.5mbs download and128mbs upload. They lowered the price to $34.95 plus included MSN 8.5
browser for free. I have a bundled package so I get $5.00 more off and I pay $29.95 total

i live in rochester in beaver county where are you located? This is getting real hard to believe!! My mother lives in Bridewater. I graduated from Monaca High School. Who is the bridge named after this year? I moved to Pgh. as an adult in the early '90s. As for Rochester, my first real girlfriend lived in Noss Plan. This is freaking me out!!! I love it.:fire :fire :fire :fire I moved to West Virginia about 3 years ago. The most beautiful place on the planet!!!

It doesn't matter, as I recall last season, you guys couldn't handle our offense...Gannon threw over 400 yards....but our offense has to change because more teams are picking up on it...but Gannon is still the best QB in the league :black

damn 3 pittsburghers in one thread, thats cool.monaca won the bridge game but they lost in the playoffs and rochester won the WPIAL championship, then they went to the state finals and lost.i can't wait till we play cleveland pitt will bury them like we did in the playoff's with the huge comeback and thank god kordell is gone.one more thing pittsburgh will beat the raiders this year.

Well sure, the Pgh. Clev. rivalry is legendary. I was actually disappointed when the Browns left a few years ago. But they came back. At the high school level Monaca-Rochester has always been a big one. Now I have ZP members to f*ck with about both of them. And remember, Oakland fanboy we're coming!!!

Grambo

how you guys planning to stop the Oakland offense? With Gannon, Rice, Brown, Porter, Jolley, Garner....come on, you couldn't handle them last season, and looks like you won't this season. The Bus is broke down, he sucks so much now. BUT, since i am from WV and live in WV, I really like Amos Zereoue. If he was given a chance to start all 16 games and play the whole game, he could tear up. And Avon Cobourne could to (he plays with the Lions, 9th ALL TIME on NCAA list). But anways, Oakland is gonna get back to the Super Bowl, they have an easier schedule than last season's. GOD, i can't wait til the NFL starts, baseball sucks.

I`m In Wisconsin, and have DSL service thru TDS Metrocom. They offer sdsl with options of 128, 256 and 768 services... I`m at 17,500 feet from the CO and get approx 500kbps. Not too bad for that far away. Time Warner has cable service in the area but as my apartment building is satellite only, it`s not an option for me. I pay 63 a month for my DSL and local phone service thru them with 200 minutes of LD every month and a bunch of services like caller ID. The service has been great once they hooked us up but it was a hassle getting it done. Missed appointments and miscommunications seem to be the norm for getting it installed. I`d give them a 4 out of 5 mostly because I get livable speeds on the fringe of the service area.
