I was downloading some files on emule for days when i got a message sent to me.
Does anyone know what it means let alone how you can steal a userhash?

actually yes you have been banned.....
but just from that particular user, its the same if you dont share.
you are treated this way to promote fair use on the network

But how can you steal someone's userhash?
I understand you can be banned for being persistant in downloading a file.
But when ive uploaded about 800mb today and downloaded about 500mb, its not as if ive been leeching.
Strange.

I am using Emule as a last resort because i cannot find a certain movie elsewhere.
Ive tried Bittorrent but it only seems to be useful for recent movies/files.

i agree
i would use emule but its not 98 friendly
also im new on the bittorrent scene how often do they usually release new clients

I have tried bittorent so I know what I am missing and not missing.
Bittorrent is only good for newest releases.
If you want old stuff use emule.
