There are three BT sites that when I go to download the torrent , all that comes up looks like raw program code. What's most annoying is that suprnova is back up, and it
is doing the same thing to me.

I have everything enabled on my browser and cannot figure out why it won't read the download code. BTW, it does the same thing on Mozilla and IE (via Slimbrowser).

perhaps right click on the torrent link, save as, and then when you have it saved right click, open with, and go to bittorrent.

What you described suggests that BT, somehow, is not associated with .torrent links. You can register these through WinXP, the registry, or by reinstalling BT.

its a bad idea to assume that a user has knowledge of how to mess with registry.

easiest way is as stated above, save the .torrent file and right click select open with...

when the window menu comes up select always open with in the lil check box and select your BT client simple as that

Just reinstall BT, or uninstall then reinstall. This should fix any associations.

you don't need a registry entry for BT++. Just copy the torrent to your BT++ - Torrent directory and the app starts downloading.
But I admit that I like the experimental client more (togeether with TorrentSpy) ....

LOL, I didn't say he had to, I just said he could. There are 3 ways to reassociate it: through the registry, through WinXP's thing, and by reinstalling.
