I was just on kazaa...and counted over 2k virus files of a new game (then I got really, really bored). They're all the virus Handi.
And it's not just that gameeither, I tried another game, and a ciouple of others and Handi was ther eevery time - in 'crack' files and 'full game files'.
So I'm wondering, is EA's response to P2P to growl at ever $40/50 not spent on their games and laugh as they try to make as many people as possible need new hard drives and computers? Or is it some other joker?
And if it is EA...does this really give them the right to say they're better than us lot? :fire

Yep, thats kazaa for you. Its come to have a reputation of misslabled files, corrupt downloads, and more virus's than the matrix! (or independence day)
You can't name titles of games here, it is against board policy. Being that you are new here, don't worry, just edit your post and remove the titles please. From now on, you downloaded a file, or a game, not *insert copyrighted file*
Use verified links with k-lite, you won't regret it. You don't get virus's that way (or at least not nearly as easily).
I also don't think EA is doing it. There are plenty of people out there that have nothing better to do than attack users computers. Its an old problem, one that will never go away

Nah, EA wouldn't do that I gues...
Btw, I never download a file below 1megabyte on kazaa...
I'll get my cracks elsewhere, thank you very much...
tons of fun

ea wouldnt be stupid enough to destroy their own product. Its in part, I believe, by as was said earlier, someone not having anything else to do.
I do think, really do think, that the RIAA is in part responsible. Exactly how much they have thier claws dug into this action is something I wont even pretend to know.
But I definately think they play a part big or small.
Then the virus is just spread from one (no av owning freak to another.)

i really doubt this is EA doing it, i think it's just the Fasttrack users, since Fasttrack has a ton of viruses already. that's why i don't get my cracks of fasttrack (like maartendc said) but off something else. it's easier to download a crack off a website first, then go through 5 on fasttrack before finding one that isn't a virus.

WTF is wrong with these people. If anyone that owns a computer and uses the internet doesnt know they should have an AV with updated definitions,,,,
They should have thier pc destroyed by
The giant hammer of " DAMN YOUR STUPID".!!!
Which also comes with a free bumper sticker.
