im interested in buying a DVD-RW drive............i shopped around and found this one Verbatim DVD+RW/R Internal IDE CD-RW Drive (details at officemax.com (http://www.officemax.com)
that i thought was good...........i am looking for a drive that will be both a CD-RW and a DVD-RW, plus $200-300.............if anyone knows of a better model let me know (if anyone knows of a store that would allow a trade in of my current internal CD-RW drive let me know as well)..........i want to be able to take my .avi files from CD-R disks and put them onto DVD+R disks, will i be able to fit more than one on them (i know that the capacity of the disk is 4.7 GB, but i dont know if its possible....)also weather or not that is possible, will i be able to play DVD+R disks on a DVD player? (also if you can put multiple movies on one disk, can you choose which file you want to watch?)..........finally, i dont quite understand DVD-RAM disks............does this mean that you can store regular files from your computer onto these disks?.................thanks for the help as always

Im still waiting for DVD+rw drives to go down in price.

For DVD players aparrently Pioneer are going to release a universal disc player for under £200 in July.

It's supposed to play: CD, CDR, SACD, DVD-A, DVD-V, V-CD & various other formats.

I might get it if i can afford it.

Ive been dying to hear 'Dark side of the moon' & the Stone's albums on SACD.
