I also doubt they would want new moderators. If they would have wanted mods, Jorge would have posted a thread asking for moderators.

Jorge posts requests for News moderators, and the last time we made endorsements as a forum.

Forum moderators are by invitation, and are not made public. There are a number of people who could be considered for forum moderation, but requests are not accepted, sorry.

Things that help is that you have:
1. been here and have been active for a while
2. Never caused any/few problems and have been respectful to others.
3. never lost control/temper.
4. You are not a high school student(i.e. under 18).

no.......well, tough.
i think before we ever had that "age thread", we wouldn't have even guessed how old most of our members were.
and that says a lot about them.
most of these youngin's r very knowledgable and mature for their seemingly young age.
i will admit, i wouldn't have guessed half of them.
so i guess it seems that we now discriminate upon age, now that we know many of them are indeed under 18.
hmmmmmmmm.
and it makes me wonder how many of us knew that evilmegaman was as young as he is.
i'm sure it wasn't a question at the time of the making him mod.

He was a mod before that was acutally made. Those really arent requirements but they definately help and what is looked for.

I have to agree that this IS a bit discriminative. Many people of around my age are much more mature than they would be expected to be for their age. However, I can see why this might be used as a general outline.

Age DOES play a part in it. First if not last, legal issues. Parents getting peeved saying this site caused thier youngin to do this. BILLY IS A GOOD BOY< HE NEVER WOULD HAVE DONE THIS IF IT WASNT FOR THAT DEVIL SITE BRAINWASHING HIM!!!!
