Geez I woke up at 4pm as usual and zeropaid.com wasn't working at all. Thought it was just my computer having some DNS problem so I rebooted. When it didn't work after that I just shrugged and went on IRC. Special thanks to cpugeniusmv for placing it in the #zeropaid topic, to alert everyone. Saved me a couple more reboots.

Glad to have it back though !! By the way, has anyone seen this (http://forums2.es5.com/index.php?act=ST&f=5&t=1065&) ?

i cant figure it out either. seemingly everyone that posted in that thread and isnt a ZP frequenter has a bone to pick with us. i cannot figure out what we possibly could have done. its sad when people become fanboys foa a fricken forum.

Best is to just ignore them and not lower to that level. Most of the flames on that thread are not even worthy of a response.

Another thing, why are they comparing themselves and "online users" to zeropaid when zp is a FILE SHARING site and they are just a forum for Es5 which is a file sharing APPLICATION?

Weird..yet very sad on their part

i have to agree.
it is one thing to be skeptical about a program and it's completely another thing to sit and dis the users of the program, which i have never seen one ZP member do to any es5 user.
there is obviously a bit of insecurity over there.

That is the result of a few people being imature in discussions.
Hope we can all rise to a higher level and be cool about everything.

Obviously I am a diehard ZP'er even if I refrain from posting sometimes. So you know where my allegience is with, but I also wish our community to try and be open minded and able to disccuss without flames and insulting language. I am a dreamer huh? lol

Their current user counts everyone in the past thirty minutes who has visited their forums and isnt a instaneous count as it is here so their user number is inflated.

Dont get me started on them... Many of the other moderators and I have tried to work with them but what they want us to do is insulting.

We shouldnt stoop to their level because they arent worth it. If they want to take cheap shots at this site because they spammed the forums on and off and then condone "retaliation" like the clone names and the numerous bash threads then good for them.

Factor in ZP 'boots' you off after around 15 minutes for some reason (security I suppose?)....and the figures are still pretty damn sweet.

Guess we won't be seeing a ESV section any time soon, eh? :wings

To be realistic, means that you will always have someone from another site yanking your chain for a response. How the world views us is always governed by how we respond. My prefirred method is to rise above the flames, and treat all of our members with respect, no matter what other forums they frequent. I for one refuse to stoop to the level of outright flaming of other forums. Also we need no raciest remarks here, as i would hope we can show ourselves to be better than to resort to that level of reply.

You just add to an already crappy 'user base' of lame ass kiddies....

Phalkon, mind being the ZP defender over there? Cuz one of our members is more then enough to fend 'em off....

And at a certain point it's best to just walk away..we know we're better and that's that, screw adding gas to an already smoldering fire.

yes i agree zeropaid.com is dead.

everytime i visit the site a am forced to read the same two or three posters wheeling out the same hackneyed drivel time after time.

for everything new and exciting in p2p people need to forego zeropaid and begin to frequent es5 forums. We at es5 have reached a level of intellectual sophistication, mature level-headed debate and bleeding edge p2p info that zeropaid could not hope to emulate even in their wildest fantasies.

Zeropaid is dead. RIP zeropaid.

I wonder if he is evil and has a goatee as the only thing that would distinguish the two of us as different? I read the thread in ESV this morning and busted up. I especially enjoyed the use of the word "fucktard;" it makes me happy that someone is so moved by the manner in which i write that they make an attempt to emulate it.
