When I first changed my avatar to an animated GIF image, the avatar was animated. Now, suddenly, it's not. The same thing happened to CCSDUDE's Radiohead avatar.
What exactly is the deal with animated avatars?

I take it your using a gecko based browser? Cuz I had the same thing happen a load of times....just clear your cache and refresh, fixes it right up.

Haven't had that Gecko-Browser problem, but also check that you haven't changed any settings on ad-blocking software if CCS hasn't fixed it.

please don't tell me you weren't able to see the [way past ridiculously] old gauge avatar.
gosh i miss that avatar.
*stupid windows that corrupted so many of my homemade graphics... curse you*

It wasn't windows...blame it on your faulty HD. That or you just can't admit you deleted them by accident like a twitchy shit.
Oh and Gauge is still a dirty whore who takes it up the ass....

uh, actually, it wasn't my hard drive. otherwise, a little more than 250 mp3's and a large number of graphics wouldn't have been corrupted. hard drive data corruption is a little less picky then to selectively kill just that little bit. and i didn't delete them.
good to see how you try to flame me about everything now, not just apple.
and what else would gauge be if she didn't take it up the ass. she is a porn star. duh.

this is a month old thread someone decided to bump.. The animation stops because they might have hit the stop button on the browser or their firewall or ad removal program might have stop animations.
