Interesting bittorrent quirk

U downloaded over a 100% of tha file..Right ? That use to freak me out on Overnet until I asked sumone & he told me It had to do that cuz one of tha files that I got from sumbody was fucked up.

I think if you download a corrupted bit it downloads it again. But I'm not sure......

I still want to know what that XP theme is TiO!!! Is it WindowBlinds or anything or just standard XP? And where can I get it from?!

that is why i don't waste my time on them

multisource= hours of hashing, and it still doesn't prevent corruption of files (so why bother?)

two issues
first one is that 102 percent. you have a corrupted part.
solution close bittorent and restart it hopefully it should clear up.
that way once the sha1hash is verified then the file can complete.

it seems your still waiting for it to complete, so once again part of a file is corrupted, and u must redownload the corrupted part over again.

it is Style XP running the Mac OSX Skin, it's what I use.

I have to agree with Cj on this one, when you dled the file did you test it out to see if it worked or were just askin what the hell to do about this? Also has this occured with any other files?

emule also can download over a 100% of a file. It throws out the corrupt part and keeps downloading, so you essentially do download over 100% but of course your file is not larger or different from the correct source file.

That's where I got it from. It's the iTunes theme. I see that I forgot to edit out the title bar, but that doesn't mean anything, it could be titled anything : - ).
