When will Shareaza get more clients to work with them. I think that if Kazaa helped them out it will be the best. One more thing, When will a new Shareaza come out, with more clients.:cross

kazaa isn't going to work with shareaza, most clients won't work with mike, mike is an amazing programer but always seems like he's doing his own thing. mldonkey worked with shareaza already thats why both clients support G2 ED2k and Bittorrent.

kazaa will never team up with shareaza... why?

money.

shareaza is free. kazaa is not.

even with kazaa lite, i would still believe that the original shareaza would hold the advantage.

another reason why kazaa won't see shareaza support within the next year, or even longer...

sharman doesn't havea clue about the client. participation levels have been the only thing to change. notice how most software actually has significant changes between 'major revisions'?

major revisions = leading number... kazaa 2 should have something significantly better than kazaa 1.7.

if it did, i sure would like to know what it was... more leeches, worms, viruses, etc. don't count.

KaZaA (http://www.kazaa.com/) is owned by Sharman Networks (http://www.sharmannetworks.com/), which licenses the FastTrack code from Joldid (http://www.joltid.com/). Shareaza wouldn't legally be allowed to connect to the FastTrack Network (http://www.fasttrack.nu/) without paying. Shareaza is a freeware and would not be able to pay for the licensing fee.
