Just take a look at some names of bands/performers who are associated with Metallica now - Avril Lavigne, Sum 42, Limp Bizkit etc. I mean - these are bubblegum pop stars, not thrashers and to me it shows what might influence Metallica in the future.....

believe me i luv Metallica's music, maybe not their politics, but i think they can still make some good heavy music.
they just took the most popular acts to do the tributes, so as to get a wider, maybe newer audience to check out their stuff and wanted good ratings.

artist themselves have been thought to have leaked their own albums.
remember eminem's fiasco when his new cd came out.
and it didn't seem to hurt sales, but even boost them and create a big buzz.

its real. i am sharing both the demo version (128k/s, ~44min) and the retail version (192K/s ~45-50 min) on the ZP community hub. it is pretty good, but it still doesnt live up to the good metallica stuff.

btw, demos were out 2 weeks ago, the reatil was out this past thursday... so even you're a little late supreme.

Well at least they're going back old school - I loved the late 80s/early 90s for them. One's thing for sure, they can play instruments better than a load of artists I know....the only person up top is probably Brian May from Queen.

For some reason i don't believe it. I heard one of their new songs and it sounds.....well, better than stuff on....errr..."Load" but its still not the same thing as their trademark sound of the 80's. Just my opinion.
