i just started useing emule and im having problems downloading due to the huge ques is there a way to get around this.

Emule works base on a credit system. Since nobody ever uploaded from you it is normal that you have high cues. Soon as people will upload from you , you will go up the cue file. The higher your upload limit is the faster you will move the cue list. Dont expect any High Speed on Emule. It is a very stable system, probably the best, but it is not fast. Very few get fast download.

Just be patient at the beginning.

Use another program.

I'm using emuleplus at the moment and it's F**King annoying when theres a 700 mb file that can only be found on emule and theres one person with the last part of the file and they have a 400+ queue.

You need to keep emule on 24/7 to get a file

Never put all your eggs in one basket. Use serveral programs at once.

Even with kazaalite's autosearch more function ive found rare large files, though at 4 kb/s.

I find something weird with emule as well:

I find people in my queue who download off me who dont have any people uploading. Yet if there's 30+ people trying to download that file off me how can they get away from sharing that same file.

If you upload to the users whom you're downloading, then you get high credit and you get a better place in their upload queues. A way to do this is, in your shared files, set the files you're downloading as releases (only while you're downloading them).

Totaly agree with you Sniffer. This is exactly what i do. I put the files that i am downloading at release. For the ones that want to download with Kazaa just go ahead. There is no download software more stable then Emule. It is not made for the newbee that dont know what they are doing. There is some setup to do with Emule and if you dont do it the righ way you are srew up.

You can also use BITTORENT witch is supposed to be the new thing. I've tried it last week and this is a nightmare. Trackers are allways down, 50% of the files are fakes and even today on http://www.suprnova.org/ witch is the most popular site, they are so dumb that they had a sample relase of the matrix reloaded that was a porno film.

Emule is for people that knows what there doing.
