Is there anyway to turn off hashing in Shareaza cause it takes to long and about 5 hours to hash a file.

turning off the networks you don't need might help... not 100% sure though.

just try turning off bt and edonkey and seeing if it goes any faster... if not, then i dunno.

I moved it, but it is considered good manners to make a effort to post in the correct area. We normally move threads posted in the wrong area by mistake.

There's a 'quick hash' method that makes the hashing go faster. Click on your library tab, then highlight the 'all files' button, right click on it, and choose 'quick hashing.' Hope that solves your problem.
