Hi, I was wondering if you could give me information on a pogram or similar that I used to use that actually lets you recover files o your hard-drive even if you have unintall and reinstalled Windows etc. I am sure I had one at one point that worked well, any help would be great! .Information on other good recovery programs would be good too.

Found the program I used to have, its called GetDataBack but so far have only be able to find a few files I want. Anyone know of any other programs that do similar or that are better.

The best one I have found is the Ontrack Easy Recovery.

Norton has its version too, those dos disks are pretty good, just slow imho.

Hey Krell have you posted on everything I want to know about, lol, you havent made a thread about taking over the world in 5 easy steps, I would like to see that also. Does Ontrack allow you to get data that was written on even old installs of windows?
