WMP player copying

what are the best setting for copying with WMP such as weather you should copy in "Analog" or "digital" mode

Some, info would be appreciated. I am using WMP 8 at the moment, but should be upgrading to 9 series v.soon

Also, is VBR encoded files properly supported in V8 as although mine play great, the song lengths are wrong (too short) has this been fixed in V9
