Nero Burning ROM vs. Stomp RecordNow Max
Which 1 do you use?
Obvioulsy RecordNow MAX Won:
Highlights:
Interface : RecordNow takes an early lead
Functionality : Round went to RecordNow when we got a tiny hiccup on our third compilation from Nero
Nero, weighing in at a whopping 33.4MB, or the decidedly bantam weight contender RecordNow, at 7.96MB

Er.......let's see.........do I agree with you..........well........NO!
"Stomp RecordNow MAX"???? What a cheesy name! Since when has Nero been challenged by anything other than Alcohol?
Anyway, here's what the linked article had to say:
The winner
It was heated combat: the mighty (and mighty heavy) Nero Burning ROM up against the leaner, faster Stomp RecordNow Max. And while our judges favored the clean good looks and pound-for-pound fighter appeal of the RecordNow Max demo, this contender just couldn’t compete with the heavy artillery packed by Nero. The title goes to Nero Burning ROM by decision, and Stomp may just have to add an ed to the end of its name.

The article says Nero is superior. I agree with them, RecordNow doesn't sound as appealing as Nero.

thanx for pasting that as well
Just some of the features Of RecordNow
Dj Burn : Burn as you play...Also Crossfade Burn
DVD RW complaint
DLA (the packet writing software)- Only Other rival . what is now provided by XP
ISO - Both Rip N Burn
Also mp3 ripper 96 to 320kbps
Create Multi Session Cd
Create Bootable CDs
PS: DLA is like treating ur RW drive as a floppy disc, so drag n drop , send to disc drive commands and all....kinda neat

RecordNow! sucks....
It's bloated even thought it's smaller and it crashes at every other turn....
Nero's been in the game far longer, their app is well rounded and I'd choose EasyCD Creator 4.0 over Recordnow any day of the week......
Seriously dude....almost every post you've made thus far is about something vs. something else.....it's friggin' retarded!
People will use what they wanna use....no lil poll is gonna change that.
Also, this belongs in the poll section.....

A poll reflects peoples opinion, whether u choose to change ur opinion based on that or not is entirly your own decision....personally i dont think anyone makes their choices based on what others think....
I think the thread should be part of audio video section.

Why on earth part of Audio & Video? Even having it in Windows would be better!
I mean, you can't even get your username the right way round. It's a "Ferrari 360 Modena", just like the "Ferrari 550 Maranello", see?

It's a poll....we have a poll section....next time post it in the poll section.
Burning CD's has NOTHING to do with audio nor video in that sense...as a CD can contain whatever you want as long as it fits into standard data layouts.

Nero, hands down.
Believe it or not, in the few months i've used Nero, i've NEVER had a coaster. Thats compared to the past in which I used Easy CD Creator, and I did end up with a few coasters.

Why the hell would you want to "dj burn"? that sounds pretty useless man...
DVDRW? Nero likes 'em too.
ISO rip and burn? Nero burns 'em and can rip to .nrg, but why rip to iso? You're better using clonecd. Mp3 Ripper? So's nero, but then there are better programs than both that are free.
Multisession? yep, nero does it too. And it does bootable cds too.
I do burning my own compilation data/audio cds with nero, cd copying with clonecd, burning isos with nero, and ripping mp3s with eac/lame.

As mrlipring pointed out, Nero does all that. As to the Ferrari issue, let's see what the manufacturer has to say, HMMM??

well nas, you did bash him for his username.
Either bash him outright, or leave it out of your opinions on the subject.
Oh, and I think his avatar suits him........

I like Nero for complicated burning like bootable stuff, and for some reason I have the best luck with burning CD images with it. But I like the GUI of Easy CD Creator and the ASPI for Nero doesn't work with my DVD burner when I burn DVD-Rs, I burned about 10 coasters in a row trying to figure out what was wrong with the way I was burning the DVDs, and I finally just got Easy CD Creator and it's worked a lot better.

I have Nero, RecordNow, Acoustica, and the newly installed CloneCD on my system as of now. I would have to go with Nero for the best. It's slighly more easier than RecordNow and more stable. Both are good however and I use them for different purposes.

I would go for nero as well. But what about Clonecd and alcohol 120% the later tends to be better for getting around copy protection on software.

I use Nero, Fireburner, Blindwrite and Sony CD Extreme mostly.
( I have just about any cd burning application you might name)
Sony CD Extreme is freeware and based on the same engine as Stomp Record Now, I like it becuase it allows me to burn long files names (over 200 characters, way more than Nero or any other app I ever tried).
Ever download a album and the titles are: Artist,Album,SongTitle and it's way long?
Well I can burn it instead of editing it and I think that's cool.
Sony CD Extreme has been very stable and useful to me and I am tending to use it the most lately.
There is a tool for every need and you should try it and open your mind.

Dang nero is the tool for burning in most cases ... However when I burn a DVD one to one I usually use DVD decryptor for this task...
