Winmx only restarts about 50 files automatically.
To restart the rest of your incomplete files you have to click the "load incomplete" button then set the search interval and the ATQ value for the extra files.

You can do this more quickly by selecting the first file in the list(click on it so it is highlighted, scroll down about a hundred files, hold down the shift key and clicking on another file, all the files between the two files you clicked will be selected. You can now
right click and change the settings for a lot of files at once.

Winmx often freezes with high cpu usage for a minute while doing this. It is bet to do about a hundred files at a time.

Remove files from your incomplete list when they have not been seend on the network for a couple of weeks. There is no point cloging the network with searchs for long gone files.

im also not sure what auto enter queue means.
what should i set it at?
when i select lots of files and click find sources now, only five of the files begin searching.
so i have to do that for all my files(in groups of five)
i assume setting auto find sources at every 10mins means the file will search for sources every ten minutes.
but this doesnt seem to work.im quicker just selecting 5 files and clicking find sources now.
is this all i can do to get my queued files starting quicker?
are my settings wrong somewhere?

I think auto enter queues means that the program will automaticly enters a queue lower than a certain number.

The setting you set it at should be to how long winmx on: if you keep winmx on all day set it to 100 ( This means it will enter queues of 100 or lower. If winmx is on only for a few hours set it to 10 or 15 as it is unlikely that the queues will move that quickly.

If you want winmx to search for more files and more quickly then you need a program called quickmx. The address for that file is on another thread. If that doesnt work google it.
