doom 3 or half life 2?

Hello again everybody!! After hearing of the recent news about Half Life 2 being released in Sept.It made me think "Which game can i not wait for?"Doom 3 or Half Life 2?? Personally now i would say Half Life 2,any opinions??

I would say Half-lie 2 too, since the original Half-life was so good, and there were a lot of good mods.
Valve will suport mod-makers from the beginning, and give them acces to the half-life 2 engine before the release of the game. This will ensure that the mods will come out quickly and will be good quality.

i couldnt deside because both will kick ass. ive played the doom 3 leak and it is amazing, but half life 2 from what ive seen of the previews looks like it could match it. who knows...

Well, i'll be getting both, obviously (why not, go to sleep, wake up and... ;)) but i'm most looking forward to hl2.

Well since I live in Dallas, the next home of QuakeCon in August!!!, I would have to say QuakeIII, because I know they wont be playing HL2 there. :)

Don't be daft mate, the difference between the games is the storytelling.

The physics engines are different too. The Q3 and UT engines are so customisable, you can make completely different games with them.

You're complaining about identikit games, and i bet you own a bloody playstation2...
