Filesharing survey

Hello,

I am a professor of musicology and am doing research on the impact of filesharing on musical listening. I'm wondering if any of you would mind filling out a quick survey about your downloading habits.

My filesharing habits have altered the way I listen to music, I now do more of it, cause it's dead cheap.

Consequently I am happier. I shout less and have faw fewer temper tantrums than before. My wife is happier because of this, (which means she's not supicious about my extra-marital affairs), so I'm getting more sex, better meals and I have more money.

FileSharing is a beautiful utopic universe where you can have your cake and eat it. It is more wonderful than a babies giggle, more inspiring than an orchestra, a better drug than love and let's not forget....

...you get good porn too.

What programs (e.g., Napster, Gnutella, etc.) have you used to download sound files?

Approximately how many songs have you downloaded?

Do you share your music with others? If so, how?

Do you buy more, fewer, or about the same number of CDs since you started to download sound files? Is your change in buying habits connected to your file-sharing?

How do you feel about downloading copyrighted material without paying for it? Please explain your answer
