rar archive files

Ok, just downloaded something massive that took forever and i do NOT want to mess this up LOL.

Ok, the file i downloaded (2 cd's) is an archive broken up into pieces.

Now, i want to convert this back into one file, so i can uncompress and burn.

I hilighted all of the files, and saw the option "Convert Archive" Logically i think this what i should do, but i am uncertain, as i have never converted an archive before.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok, do you have "filename.rar", "filname.r00", "filename.r01" etc?

if so, doubleclick the .rar one, and extract to somewhere.

you won't be deleting the fils you downloaded, so don't worry about arsing it up.

OK, im extracting the rar one now, (MAN this is going to take awhile lol)

I was thinking about that also, and was fidling around with it while i was waiting for a reply.
