for some reason the shareaza application i downloaded refuses to connect with the network. i use a dial up modem for access, can anyone help. thanks

I have a similar problem as you, if i'm guessing correctly. I am unable to get the gwebcaches for G1 or G2 using Shareaza.

By, "it doesn't connect to the network", do you mean that in the main connection window, you get some sort of "unable to recieve blah blah blag" in red lettering? If so, that my problem. Although I have a broadband connection.

The people on this site are experts with all computer problems, but you need to tell them absolutely everything, from your version of windows and the p2p program, firewalls, settings, exact error messages/what goes wrong - even the brand of toothpaste you used this morning could make the difference.

You wouldnt ring a mechanic and say, "there is a banging noise under the bonnet"
