Alrighty Ladies and Gentlemen, I am having 2 troublesome problems occuring at the moment that I would appreciate some help with. I could have made two threads, but oh hell one is enough.. plus I am lazy. :mellow

Spybot Problem

A few days ago my Spybot has been freezing up for unknown reasons. Shorty after I updated it, my Spybot has been freezing up on scans.. right at a specific point. When it is on "C2.lop". Why? No clue, but it does this everytime. I end up having to forcefully stop the program with the task manager. I've tried restarting the program, rebooting, and all that. I have not reinstalled yet, but I am going to right after I post this.

I was wondering if any of you have experienced this problem and maybe even have an answer to it. Thanks.

Administrator Priviledges Problem

Today, out of the blue, my computer decided to take away my administrator priviledges regarding Internet Explorer options. I have absolutely NO clue why this happened.. except that it may have something to do with OnTrack System Suite which I used to defrag my computer the night before (I just got back when it finished). You know, that "all-in-one" thing.

So far that is the only thing I have encountered regarding my loss of priviledges but I will post here if that changes. I checked my access by checking Control Panel -> Administrator Tools - > Computer Management -> Local Users and Groups -> and I am a member of "Administrators" and I just recently added myself to "Backup Operators" to see if that would clear it up.

I have also tried booting into Safe Mode which someone recommended to no avail. I have, however, successfully got into the Internet Explorer options on the other administrator account with no trouble which is particularly strange considering they have the same priviledges.

I would really appreciate some answers and I am hoping some of you here can help me.

Misc Info

- AMD Athlon
- 384 MB SD RAM
- Windows 2000 Professional
I can add if more if asked.

Thanks so much in advanced.

I looked around for a bit, but couldn't dig up an answer... Just so you don't feel bad though, I did find this:
