Hi everyone,

I found an article dated - June 28, 2002 in the link given below. I am now conducting a research on "spoofing" to fully understand its process. As what I knew the word "Spoofing" has different meanings in various aspects. What they mean on the word "spoofing" based on that article? Any of you can explain to me, please?

Also, I want to know how the music industry implemented this technique? How they come up this ideas? And what is the advantage of using this method? I really have lots of questions to myself that I need to share with anybody like you because I'm sure you have broad knowledge about this. Is this something that the music industry could start doing? Would you please tell me if you think this is practical for the music industry to consider doing?

Please I need your ideas.

Thanks a lot,
LB

Hi, This is my first time posting, although I read threads regularly, I have never seen anything about this Audio Magic. So after reading the article listed below,,,,(hope it works!) I went to their website and had a look-see. They had several write ups about themselves via different e-zines and newspapers that were pretty informative about what kind of attack mode they have up their sleeve. I was very surprised at what they claim they can do and just can not believe that no one in the p2p community has been issueing warnings about this yet. So, anyone have any thoughts on this or any news to the contrary?

thanx!

About a week or so ago ZP had an article on Overmind you should read back onto that article it includes the site PR page. That should help you somewhat i hope. As for is it practical ? In most aspects no. Are a few fakes files going to stop anyone? I preview all my songs before i finish Downloading them so it's not too big a deal to me. If you find anything of interest keep me posted i'd be interested to know as well.

You must be really bored to dig up really old threads like this one and respond to them.

Tip: The most recent posts are shown on the front page (http://www.zeropaid.com) under "Recent Posts". You are more likely to get a good respond by responding to them (or even a response at all).
